The Wetwang Chariot built in England is shown at the left. Showing the carvings on the wooden frame of the chariot, the painted rawhide lashings, the horse harness, and the decorative painting. Notice the front harness has an additional triangle of rawhide lashing to stiffen it on the tongue. This was found to be necessary during trial runs in England.
This chariot was used as a reference while we were building the new Lexington chariot.
